Zeda Limited is deeply saddened by the untimely passing of Ms Xoliswa Kakana, who served as a member of the Zeda Board until 15 October 2025.

Ms Kakana was a highly respected business leader and a valued member of the Zeda Board, where she contributed her deep expertise in technology, governance and strategy. Her dedication and insight played a meaningful role in guiding the company through its formative years as an independent, listed entity.

“The Zeda family extends its heartfelt condolences to Ms Kakana’s family, friends, and colleagues during this difficult time,” said Lwazi Bam – Chairman of the Zeda Board. “We honour her legacy of leadership, her commitment to excellence, and her significant contributions to the business community and to South Africa as a whole.”

Ms Kakana’s passing is a loss not only to Zeda but to the broader corporate and technology community.

Zeda will continue to hold her memory in high regard and is grateful for the time she served on its Board.
